Terminal: has been: looking up mass effect 3 reapers, and the Kal'eon have incorporated their species[?] and technologies to advance to tech 15 [proper]. Kal'eon are known to be tech 15, but really they're 13/14ish tech.

Animals only think about survival, hunting, mating.

Capable of knowing what 'tidy' means, and can be a bit more strategic on things.

Probably where humans started to...happen to become more creative with their minds, making words, books, inscriptions, and much more....

This is when they get FTL working properly, and then expand their species to beyond their basic, their mission: explore new forms of life/civilizations. During this period, weapons of space-to-space war and SHIELD devices will be very useful...

Eventually if another species is found, war shall surge, and conquest will begin, yet their original mission will remain clear to both sides.
9: Automated war machines...:
Just at the pinnacle of evolution and at peak of tech-power, they make machines to deal with warfare, supply gathering, manufacture, and the best portals.

Not much opinion, but one thing's for sure, their works are MASSIVE!

247/343/404: They mutated to become gods of their galaxy, and their work...nobody knows, well, apart from THE FLOOD.

Koldraxon [or known as Kalius, if you're at the future] had his own tech that exceeded our expectation, and thus his various constructs are notable as very flexible, for they can adapt and overcome problems.
13: Kal'eon tech level [era of Kal'eon rising to power]
When you can't beat it, convert it, if it can counter you, just de-volve 'em back a bit, or wipe their memory, or even just blow up their inventions of warfare.

Kal'eon are an empire of some kind, we just can't put our...tip of the spear...on what it is yet that we can explain, just the fact that they are tech 14.
